Many of us are gamble to quit day job to be an IM without further knowledge how to survive and make more money online.My opinion is you must have saving at least 12 month salary then you can quit day job.
Even you are no luck at Online business you can go back to day job. That 12 month backup are enough to survive without worrying you online income are not much.
The best action is you have day job and doing part time IM. This is better because you have 2 main source of income.
